04-Mar-2014

EPMS recently completed the engineering for Australian Zirconia Limited’s (AZL) Feasibility study for their Dubbo Zirconia Project (DZP). AZL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alkane Resources Ltd a long established Australian company that currently operates the Tomingley Gold Project in NSW.

EPMS has been working on the study through its various phases for the last 3 years and recently collated and issued all of the deliverables to AZL.

EPMS work scope included all civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical engineering to definitive feasibility study level, as well as process engineering support to the client as required. EPMS also carried out all drafting for the project, creating the PFDs, P&IDs and a detailed 3D model of the plant, and 2D general arrangements. In addition EPMS compiled the capital cost estimate for the project on behalf of AZL.

AZL plans to carry out a Front End Engineering Study (FEED) during 2014 and EPMS will have a role on the owners team for that study.
